◆When did you start drawing?
i drew stupid stick figures, pokemon, and such like everyone else in elementary school
when i was 10 I started playing on neopets (DON'T JUDGE ME ROFL) and drew my pets for that Beauty Contest thing. sooo i began drawing seriously around 6th grade~ doodling neopets/animals all the way through 7th grade. then i started getting into manga (narutoes, anyone??) haha and switched to an anime style in 8th grade D: aaaand been doing that since lol

◆Which hand do you use for drawing?

◆Which is easier to draw - male or female?
androgynous.. kind of leaning towards female haha

◆Which is easier to draw - long hair or short hair?
equal; i just tend to draw hair that covers the jaws LOL b/c i suck at distinguishing between male and female jawlines

◆Is it easier to draw the head facing towards the right or the left?
left sigh still a bad habit

◆Is it easier to draw the side view of the face or the front view?
3/4 view

◆What do you have problems in drawing?
TOO MANY my foundation is horrible. at this point i don't have much time and energy to explore tons of techniques, styles, perspectives, poses, environments, etc. so improvement has been slow hopefully i can try things out after my HS career is over

◆What do you like to draw?
beautiful animu ppls. and color vomit

◆Are you a traditional artist or a digital artist?
digital? though i do do a lot of pencil sketching

◆Where do you start drawing from?
scribbly blob/stick figure for a full figure; the jaw/outline of face for just headshots/busts

◆What is your drawing habit that you are aware of?
i tend to darken my lines and get confident too early. then i have to erase and fix crap, things start feeling hopeless, aaand finally i give up haha

◆Any tips for coloring/shading?
when i started coloring i was too shy/afraid to add bold colors. i thought it would ruin the pic, so everything was really dull/desaturated SO DON'T BE AFRAID TO SLAP THEM COLORS DOWN!
and i guess another part of this is learning how to fix/mold your pieces. if you restrict yourself to lineart from the beginning it's really hard to find the confidence to change it later on-- getting those smoooth lines is difficult right? so it's a pain trying to re-do them and yaddaaa
so start w/ shapes! and refine them as you go. it looks really difficult at the start (lyk how the fk do i turn this color blob into a beautiful anime princess?!! ffff#@$*%) but it'll get easier fasttt trust me

◆How long does it take to finish a piece of art?
lol i don't think i ever 'finish' anything. but from what i have submitted, it could be anything from 30 min to 20 hours lol

◆What music do you listen to while you draw?
mostly epic/emotion-filled songs ;3; my recent favorite: [link] god the video is such eye candy too

◆How long does it take you to come up with an idea?
i think i've given up on drawing things based on a concept; i tried this a lot in middle school, but nowadays... nah. school has drained every bit of creativity from me

◆Your favorite drawing utensils?
mechanical pencil, sometimes inking pens

just about everything on pixiv.net lol
'classy' anime styles that are really atmospheric/emotional, and don't always put the focus on one animu girl camwhoring with shinydesu eyes
